The Molly Ford Scholarship Supports First-Generation Students
The Molly Ford Scholarship fund, established as a result of a generous gift from Molly and William Ford through their Screaming Comet Foundation, provides the opportunity for first-generation, Florida Atlantic students to graduate debt-free with a university degree.
Ford scholars represent the top of their class, demonstrate financial need, and come from varied backgrounds. To date, nine students have earned this opportunity. The Ford scholarship covers tuition, fees, books and housing expenses, as well as academic and programmatic wrap-around services to help navigate academics and life on campus.
As part of their support, the Fords meet their scholars and encourage them to take advantage of every opportunity they experience in their lives. To that end, Ford scholarship funds may also support experiential learning, including internships and study abroad opportunities.
